- For College seniors looking for professional exposure, the U23 teams will provide a high level of training with the opportunity to play against some of the area’s top NPSL/PDL teams
- For players looking to enter the college game, the U23 teams will provide the opportunity to train and play with current college players in a challenging and rewarding soccer environment, whilst given the exposure to potential college coaches. During the season, the players will train twice per week with a minimum of four games implemented into the schedule.
“This is something we feel very strongly about because it is important for our players to be exposed to the next level” said 1776 United Director of Coaching Karl Reddick “A U23 team provides an opportunity for our older players past and present but also provides role model for our youth teams. As a former college athlete the summer was great preparation for me and my teammates to build and develop in advance of stepping on the field in the fall”
